Life is all about capturing the moments.
Although we are in an era of camera phones galore, there are those of us who like carrying around our actual cameras from time to time. I’ve personally found it difficult to find a camera bag that fits nicely into a medium sized purse, so I was excited to make one of my own using some very affordable materials from the local fabric store (shout out, Dressew).
- Toiletry bag
- Foam shoulder pads (2 pairs)
- Needle & thread
Using the needle and thread, stitch one of the shoulder pads onto the bottom of the bag, and one shoulder pad onto the lid of the bag.
Fit the second pair of shoulder pads inside of the bag and trim the pads to reach 1” under the zipper.
Place the second pair of shoulder pads onto the piece of fabric for sizing and coverage. Trim around the pads and leave around 0.5 to 1cm and sew the seams together.
Sew the sides of the inner shoulder pads together with one or two stitches, and place into the bag.
